Main Program
Our main curriculum is based on the renowned New Concept English series specifically designed for non-native learners:

Level 1 – First Things First: Foundation in words, sounds, and sentence patterns.

Level 2 – Practice and Progress: Building fluency and confidence through repetition and application.

Level 3 – Developing Skills: Strengthening comprehension and writing ability.

Level 4 – Fluency in English: Achieving native-level accuracy and natural communication.
To broaden learning, students also read from a library of over 800 graded reading materials across various subjects, nurturing both vocabulary and curiosity. We also provide cross-subject integration with Math, Science, and Social Studies, allowing students to apply English in academic contexts.
Our library is continuously updated to ensure its relevance, currency, and practical value.

By the end of each stage, students demonstrate measurable growth in vocabulary, reading speed, comprehension accuracy, writing fluency, and natural spoken communication.
For example, after completing Level 2, a student will be able to:

Master approximately 2,000 words of G3 level and 211 Key sentence structures

Achieve a reading speed of around 150 words-correct-per-minute (WCPM)

Communicate confidently in everyday conversations using age-appropriate vocabulary and sentence structures

Write coherent passages of up to 200 words with a solid understanding of key sentence structures

Develop the ability to learn independently and perform well on a wide range of tests
Expected Outcomes

Students’ progress is tracked using IXL, AR Reading, TOEFL Primary & Junior, and other Common Core-aligned assessments, as well as Korean testing framework NELT, CATS etc. While students naturally develop the ability to perform well in standardized tests, we view this as a by-product of strong language proficiency, rather than the primary goal of our program.
At home, we encourage habit formation and daily exposure—through fixed study times, recurring audio, images and texts, engaging YouTube learning, and AI-based conversation tools that promote fun, self-driven learning.
Evaluation and Enrichment

American textbooks such as Wonders, Journeys, and other ELA programs are used as supplementary reading materials and references for teaching reading and writing strategies, rather than as our primary textbooks.
In our experience, materials designed for native English-speaking students often assume a level of vocabulary and language intuition that beginning EFL learners have not yet developed. When introduced too early, they may create confusion and reduce students' confidence and interest in learning. We therefore focus first on building a strong foundation in sounds, vocabulary, and sentence patterns before gradually introducing more advanced authentic materials.
At the same time, the English Language Arts (ELA) Common Core Standards, adopted by many elementary education systems across the United States, serve as an important benchmark for our curriculum design. These standards provide valuable guidance for the sequencing of learning objectives, the selection of target topics, and the development of English competencies at each stage of instruction.
